- Geometry: Wherever you venture, the chromium-molybdenum steel trellis frame is designed for distance and able to deliver day-long comfort. By using the engine as a stressed member, the frame design is also light, compact, and engineered to deliver precise feedback. It also provides a light feeling through tight corners in addition to assured stability and comfort when riding offroad on less-travelled tracks. The geometry of the Norden 901 is formulated to create a world-class travel motorcycle and features perfect ergonomics for a comfortable riding experience throughout every voyage of discovery.
- Suspension: Control and comfort are essential throughout every long distance adventure. At the front end of the Norden 901, WP APEX 43 mm forks offer 220 mm of travel for exceptional damping across the roughest terrain, with the compression and rebound easily adjustable for a personalised set-up. The same settings can be fine-tuned on the WP APEX rear shock in addition to the preload for maximum comfort, with travel set at 215 mm for a perfect balance and superior handling.
- Ride modes: Multiple ride modes ensure the Norden 901 can deliver optimal performance on all types of terrain. Three options, Street, Rain, and Offroad, are pre-set with the throttle response, traction control, Bosch ABS, and peak power settings all tailored to each mode to suit the corresponding conditions. Additionally, the Explorer Mode provides riders with full control of every function so that a personalized riding mode can be created based on personal preference and skill level.
- Connectivity: Stay connected with the optional Connectivity Unit and the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app for Android and iOS. The Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app controls incoming calls and music playlists on the go via the handlebar-mounted mode switch, with all essential information clearly displayed on the 5" TFT screen. Within the app, maps can be downloaded pre-ride to save mobile data, offering the functionality to create and store personalised routes, including the option to add up to 128 waypoints so you can plan and prepare for truly unique adventures. Via Bluetooth, the app displays visual guidance and Turn-by-Turn+ navigation on the TFT screen, ensuring safety and accuracy while travelling.
