FREE AVALANCHE TRAINING at G-Force Powersports – October 15, 2024
Prepare for the upcoming backcountry season with essential avalanche safety training at G-Force Powersports! We’re excited to host a free Avalanche Awareness Training on October 15, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at G-Force Powersports. Whether you're an experienced rider or new to the sport, this seminar will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate avalanche terrain safely.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Professional Avalanche Education: This training is part of the Ski-Doo Avalanche Awareness Series and follows guidelines set by the American Avalanche Association. Led by experts from Avalanche1, with over 26 years of experience in motorized avalanche education, you’ll gain crucial insights and practical knowledge to stay safe in the mountains.
NEW 2024 TRAINING CURRICLUM:
This year’s program features a brand-new presentation that includes:
An overview of avalanche accidents, prevention methods, and identifying dangerous avalanche types.
In-depth training on selecting the most effective avalanche safety equipment.
Advanced rescue techniques, terrain analysis, and hands-on transceiver use.
HANDS-ON LEARNING:
To enhance your skills, bring your avalanche gear (transceiver, shovel, probe, and pack) for practical demonstrations and exercises. We’ll also set up a transceiver practice station in the parking lot for probing and shoveling drills, giving you the chance to apply your new knowledge in a realistic scenario.
INTRERACTIVE ENGAGING ATMOSPHERE:
We’ll provide snacks and drinks, to keep the evening lively. This seminar is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow riders and share experiences.
EVENT LOCATION:
The training will be held at G-Force Powersports, located at 7700 W Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO 80214. Our dealership is easily accessible from the Denver area, offering a convenient location for riders from across the Front Range. With ample parking and a spacious setup, you’ll enjoy a comfortable and engaging learning environment.
